My Story
Six decades of creating
Drag the medallions — watch the text breathe around them.
Since I was a child, I have enjoyed creating. For over sixty years, I have explored the possibilities of thread, fabric, and paper — finding that every material holds a story waiting to be told through skilled hands. My work spans hand knitting and crochet, mixed media assemblage, paper arts, and upcycled materials. What began as personal joy has grown into something with a wider purpose: making beautiful, functional things for those who need them most. Every stitch is intentional. Every piece of reclaimed cardboard or hand-rolled bead carries the memory of what it was and the promise of what it can become. The Addi Turbo Express lets me scale that intention into hundreds of warm hats each year — each one a small act of care sent into the world. Art, I have come to believe, is not merely decoration. It is attention made visible. It is the human insistence that beauty matters, even — especially — for those the world has overlooked.
